President Emmanuel Macron's former security aide Alexandre Benalla told police investigators that he had overseen the removal of his personal firearms cabinet from his home, and he also refused to hand over data from his mobile phone or his partner's telephone number as part of the ongoing investigation into claims he unlawfully took part in the arrest of a protester in Paris, Mediapart can reveal.
