Macron sworn in for second term, vows 'new method' of governing

Emmanuel Macron, who was last month re-elected to a second five-year term as president, was officially sworn in on Saturday, when he gave a short speech promising to act with 'respect' and 'consideration' in a 'new method' of governance.

Emmanuel Macron was sworn in for his second term as France's president this  Saturday at a ceremony at the Élysée Palace, followed by the firing of canons at the Invalides gardens, reports Radio France Internationale.
