Renault grandchildren take France to court


A French court will rule in January on a claim by Louis Renault's grandchildren that the French state unfairly nationalised his car-making firm.

Seven grandchildren of the founder of French carmaker Renault have brought the French state to court claiming it unfairly nationalised the family business at the end of Second World War due to his alleged collaboration with Nazis, reports The Daily Telegraph.
