Fitch insists no triple-A downgrade expected for France

Ratings firm Fitch says France is not in crisis and it will not downgrade its triple-A rating unless its debt is sharply increased by eurozone woes.

Fitch Ratings doesn't see France as a country in crisis and won't downgrade it from triple-A so long as its debt isn't pushed up sharply by shocks related to the euro-zone debt crisis, the head of global sovereign ratings at the firm said Thursday, reports The Wall Street Journal.
