Organization of Islamic Cooperation 'ponders legal action against Charlie Hebdo'


The 57-member-state body which claims to represent a majority of Muslim countries says it is studying options under European and French law.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) says it may take legal measures against the French magazine, Charlie Hebdo, for publishing blasphemous cartoons, Secretary General Iyad Madani told a local daily on Friday, reports Arab News.
