Popular French rappers Booba and Kaaris were each handed 18-month suspended prison sentences and a fine of 30,000 euros by a Paris court for their part in a fight, together with their respective entourages, at Paris Orly airport in August when they exchanged punches and kicks and threw perfume bottles at each other amid panicking passengers.

Rival French rap stars Booba and Kaaris, who were placed in preventive detention after they and their entourage engaged in a fist fight inside an Orly airport terminal earlier this month, causing tens of thousands of euros of damage and delays to flights, have been released on bail ahead of their trial in September.

Booba and Kaaris were arrested after a fight between their respective entourages at Orly Airport near Paris which delayed several flights.

Both men were detained along with members of their entourages following scuffles at a departure lounge at Orly airport that delayed flights.
