Paris to restrict city access to pre-1997 cars from July 1st

The anti-pollution move concerns Monday to Friday daytime access and will become an outright ban in 2020, when access for pre-2011 cars will be restricted.

Paris doesn’t want your dirty old car polluting its streets anymore. So starting July 1st, the capital will ban cars registered before 1997 from entering the city center on weekdays between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., reports MarketWatch.
