Macron says murdered teacher had been defending 'freedom of expression'

Visiting the scene of the murder near Paris, the president said the attack should not  divide France because that is what terrorists wanted.

French president Emmanuel Macron denounced what he called an “Islamist terrorist attack” against a history teacher decapitated in a Paris suburb Friday, urging the nation to stand united against extremism, reports USA Today.
