Life after losing an eye in French "yellow vest' protests


French news agency AFP interviews 14 out of an estimayed 23 people who lost sight in an eye after apparently being hit by police rubber bullets fired during the past five montghs of 'yellow vest' protests around the country.

More than a dozen people who say they were blinded in one eye by rubber bullets or other projectiles fired by police in the recent months of “yellow vests” protests in France have given detailed accounts of their horrific injuries and the circumstances in which they ocurred to French news agency AFP.
