France opens up vaccination to all adults from May 31st

French government had originally penciled in June 15 for allowing those over the age of 18 to get the Covid-19 jab.

All adults in France will be able to get vaccinated against the coronavirus from May 31, two weeks earlier than originally planned, prime minister Jean Castex announced on Thursday, reports Politico.

People working in designated priority professions — including teachers, police officers and bus drivers — will be eligible from May 24.

The government had previously penciled in June 15 for allowing those over the age of 18 to get vaccinated.
