Motorbike burns out in front of Jordanian military mission in Paris
An investigation is underway to establish whether a motorbike that was destroyed by flames which spread to a diplomatic behicle in front of the Jordanian military mission in Paris early Wednesday was set on fire deliberately.
A motorcycle has exploded in front of Jordanian military office in Paris, reports The Independent.
French officials said no one was hurt after the bike caught fire, causing a small explosion.
Police are investigating whether the fire was started deliberately on Wednesday morning in front of the Jordanian military attache's office on the upmarket Avenue Foch in the west of the city.
The flames spread to a diplomatic vehicle but a Jordanian embassy spokesman said they did not believe its office had been targeted.
Abdallah Alolaimat, a consular official at the embassy in Paris, said none of the country's staff were hurt.
Jordan's Petra news agency quoted a foreign ministry spokesman as saying the explosion caused minor damage to vehicles parked in front of the building.
