A woman said to be President Putin’s daughter is working at a Parisian art gallery that displays work by opponents of his war on Ukraine, reports The Times.

Some Russian émigrés and Ukrainian artists are angry that Elizaveta Krivonogikh aka Elizaveta Rudnova, 22, is mixing with victims of her alleged father’s military aggression and crackdown on domestic dissent.

Others have spoken in defence of Rudnova, saying she is a sensitive and dedicated worker, and that children cannot be blamed for the “sins of the father”.

The woman, also known as Liza Krivonogikh, bears a striking resemblance to Putin, with whom her mother, Svetlana Krivonogikh, 50, is said to have had an affair in the early Noughties.

It was revealed last year that Elizaveta was living in Paris and using the name Rudnova, or another pseudonym, Luiza Rozova. According to reports, she has been studying at the Institut d’études supérieures des arts, a graduate arts school in the 11th arrondissement of the city.

The claims emerged in a Facebook post by Nastya Rodionova, a Moscow artist who fled Russia when Putin invaded Ukraine in 2022 and was granted asylum in France.

Rodionova said she could not stay silent after learning that Rudnova was a student intern at Studio Albatros and L Galerie in Paris, “where anti-war artists show their work”.
