More than ten years after the events, the pieces of the puzzle are finally beginning to fall into place. On September 5th, 2017, the French police's financial crimes squad the Office Central de Lutte Contre la Corruption et les Infractions Financières et Fiscales (OCLCIFF) completed an initial and damning 22-page report into the claims that the Libyan regime under Muammar Gaddafi funded Nicolas Sarkozy's successful 2007 presidential campaign.
