Some 433 hot air balloons flew above eastern France on Sunday, breaking the record for the most simultaneous hot-air balloon flights, reports The Guardian.

A variety of balloon designs, including a French chateau and cartoon character Obelix, lifted off from an airbase, covering a stretch of four miles across the sky.
