French air traffic controllers to strike

Four-day strike over hours and conditions, called by the UNSA union, will lead to cancelled flights between Monday 6th and Friday March 10th.

A French air traffic control union has announced a four-day strike, which will delay or cancel up to a third of flights in Paris and around France starting Monday, reports RFI.

The strike, called by the UNSA union, will hit flights between Monday 6th and Friday 10th March.

France’s civil aviation authority has asked airlines to cancel flights in order to reduce the amount of air traffic during strike days.

Air traffic controllers working at airports in Brest, Bordeaux and Aix-en-Provence failed to agree on surrounding working hours and conditions.

We use the Qiota service from Opper Marketing Suite to configure the activation of a datawall on certain content (available only on the website). This system, intended for non-subscribed users, requires the input of an email address to access the relevant content. By providing this information, the user consents to its collection, storage, and use for statistical purposes. In accordance with the applicable regulations, users have the right to access, rectify, and delete their data, which they can exercise by contacting dpo@opper.io.
