Migrant street camp in north Paris evacuated

The 2,628 migrants who were living rough on mattresses and in tents were given temporary accomodation in gyms and a retirement home.

French police have dismantled a tent camp under a railway bridge housing more than 2,500 people in northern Paris, making it the 26th operation of its kind over the past year in the French capital, reports Radio France Internationale.
