Frenchwoman jailed 60 years for kidnapping returns home from Mexico

Florence Cassez, jailed in Mexico seven years ago for gang crime, has been freed after a long legal campaign claiming evidence was fabricated.

Florence Cassez, 38,  a Frenchwoman whose imprisonment in Mexico for alleged hostage-taking became a cause célèbre in France, arrived at Paris’s Charles De Gaulle airport on Thursday afternoon after she was freed by the Mexican Supreme Court, reports Radio France Internationale.
